"Follow Me To BOC" Vision 2025 Walkathon,

About the event

Brethren of Christ Agape Family Church (BOC) is excited to host our "Follow Me to BOC" Vision 2025 Walkathon Fundraiser on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 8:00 AM. This 2-mile community walk will begin at Glendale Park in Dallas and end at the future site of our new worship facility at 3911 Biglow Dr., Dallas, TX. As a Christ-centered, family-focused church with deep roots in the Dallas community, our mission is to expand our reach and deepen our service through a new church building that will allow us to minister more effectively, host community events, and empower lives through the Word of God. Registration is $25 per participant, which includes a commemorative T-shirt. We are currently seeking sponsors, vendors, and local partners to support this effort and help us bring this vision to life. As the event coordinator for the “Follow Me to BOC” Vision 2025 Walkathon, I bring over 30 years of ministry experience, with a deep passion for organizing impactful, profitable, and purpose-driven community events that glorify God and serve His people. My heart is rooted in seeing the body of Christ thrive as a beacon of light in the DFW area. Throughout my ministry journey, I have had the privilege of working extensively in youth ministry, where I’ve witnessed incredible growth and the rise of young leaders who are boldly making a difference. I have also served in women’s ministry, supporting events that uplift, empower, and edify women of God. At Brethren of Christ Agape Family Church, we are a growing fellowship that loves with intention and ministers with purpose—and I am honored to help lead this initiative that blends faith, health, and community impact into one powerful movement.
