About the event

Moments in Motion is a film festival/award show brought to you by final-year Media Production students. The Media Production BA aids students in learning how to work in production teams as well as gain a wide variety of skills for a wide array of production roles, such as directing, camera operating, or video editing, just to name a few. This course aims to perfectly prepare students for the real-world industry by supplying them with the appropriate soft and hard skills needed to persevere in work environments.

This event is a celebration of the hard work, dedication, and artistic vision of Media Production students. An excellent opportunity to provide a platform for these emerging creatives to share their accomplishments, showcase their wide range of production, and inspire the next upcoming generation of creatives. The festival will feature a diverse array of short films, experimental and documentaries showcasing the ideas that have come to fruition over their time on the course. 

Moments in Motion welcomes everyone to come along and promises to be an unforgettable experience to celebrate the power of our storytelling and the ability to paint a picture. The tickets are now available on Eventbrite alongside the date and venue location. The festival hopes to draw a diverse audience of film enthusiasts, industry professionals, and aspiring creatives. 

The festival plans to feature a film screening of selected films by our curation team, which aims to select the best work submitted by students. We hope to host a networking opportunity, allowing attendees to connect with like-minded individuals and gain valuable insights from industry professionals. At the same time, we hope to inspire aspiring creatives that attend the event through showing what the students have been capable of achieving.
