About the event

Jacksonville zoo and gardens proudly celebrates 100
years at our beloved home along the Trout
River, where we’ve flourished since relocating
in 1925. To honor this milestone, we invite you
to ExZOOberation: Riverfront Rendezvous, an
enchanting evening celebrating Jacksonville’s
dynamic waterways and shorelines, all set to the
soulful rhythms of jazz. This year’s theme reflects
our deep-rooted connection to the riverfront
that has shaped our history and mission. It also
brings focus to our impactful water and shoreline
conservation projects, safeguarding the vital
ecosystems that are essential to both wildlife
and our community.

Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens is celebrating 111 years as a beloved community institution, so we are paying homage to our city during the 27^th anniversary of ExZOOberation.

On May 3^rd, 2025, step into the vibrant spirit of Jacksonville through local restaurants serving their renowned cuisine, unique regional entertainment, exclusive auctions with curated items, and open bars featuring local spirits, wines, and brews. Event attendees also can engage with the species they are directly supporting through one-of-a-kind animal experiences and garden strolls.
